Ahmed Julker Nine is a research and policy analyst specializing in logistics, trade facilitation, regulatory analysis, and public policy in Bangladesh. He brings over five years of hands-on experience supporting evidence-based economic reform initiatives at the intersection of government policy, private sector development, and international development cooperation.
His work focuses on advancing logistics efficiency, institutional strengthening, trade facilitation, and cross-border competitiveness through rigorous research, policy diagnostics, stakeholder coordination, and strategic policy engagement.
Julker has extensive experience providing technical and secretariat support to high-level national policy platforms, including the National Logistics Development and Coordination Committee and its thematic subcommittees. He has contributed directly to the formulation of the National Logistics Development Policy through logistics sector diagnostics, regulatory benchmarking, policy performance analysis, stakeholder mapping, and the preparation of policy memoranda and post-consultation reports for senior government decision-makers.
He is experienced in facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues and translating complex research findings into clear, practical, and actionable policy recommendations aimed at strengthening logistics efficiency, private sector competitiveness, and institutional reform in Bangladesh.
Over the course of his career, Julker has contributed to donor-funded technical assistance projects supported by the World Bank Group, GIZ, USAID, JICA, ITC, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and Land O'Lakes. His work has covered logistics policy reform, export data transparency, agro-trade facilitation and capacity assessment, business climate analysis, institutional strengthening, and gender-responsive procurement.
He has extensive experience conducting focus group discussions, key informant interviews, stakeholder consultations, regulatory benchmarking, and policy diagnostics, while consistently delivering high-quality policy reports, post-consultation analyses, and donor deliverables that have informed major development and reform initiatives in Bangladesh.
Julker holds both an MBA and a BBA in human resource management from Jahangirnagar University.
