Himadri Shekhar Ganguly

Himadri Shekhar Ganguly is currently serving as an Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance at TRACE Consulting Limited, where he supports the firm’s financial management across its trade facilitation, policy reform, and digital solutions engagements.

He is an accounts and finance professional with expertise in financial reporting, payables and receivables management, VAT and income tax compliance, and project cost control. His work reflects a disciplined, compliance-first approach grounded in IAS/IFRS and local tax and regulatory requirements.

Before joining TRACE, Himadri served as Accounts Officer at the Bangladesh branch of CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited (CCDC), a Chinese multinational drilling contractor. In that role, he maintained the books for multiple drilling projects across four cost centers and managed monthly VAT and quarterly tax filings. He also led month-end reconciliations and prepared P&L, cash flow, and budget variance reports for management. During his tenure, he recovered overdue receivables and developed Excel and Power Query reporting tools that gave management clearer visibility into project costs.

Himadri holds an MBA and a BBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka. He is currently pursuing the Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) qualification from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).
