Dr. Habibur Rahman Khondaker

Dr. Habibur Rahman Khondaker is a Bangladeshi aquaculture and fisheries expert with over 40 years of experience in fisheries management, aquaculture development, food safety, and export compliance. 

A former director of Fish Inspection and Quality Control (FIQC) at the Department of Fisheries, he has led initiatives on international trade standards, food safety legislation, and laboratory accreditation. He has consulted for organizations including the USDA, ADB, Winrock International, and Land O'Lakes Venture37, with a focus on shrimp and prawn farming, contamination control, and value chain development. Widely recognized as a technical expert, he has represented Bangladesh in global forums and contributed manuals and training modules that support the country's aquaculture sector
