Scope of services:

Market & Compliance Landscape Assessment: Conducted a structured review of global dried fruit market trends, identifying major demand centers and assessing Bangladesh’s current export profile.
GAP, Traceability, & Local Compliance Systems: Mapped good agricultural practices (GAP) for target crops (mango, jackfruit, pineapple, and banana), focusing on agrochemical management and farm hygiene. Designed a farm-to-processor traceability model with systematic tracking to isolate and rectify non-compliance at the source.
US Market Access & Preventive Controls: Detailed US FDA regulations, focusing on mandatory facility registration, prior notice, FSMA preventive controls, and PCQI responsibilities. Clarified critical allergen declaration labeling under FALCPA and emphasized strict 10 ppm sulfite limits to avoid import alerts.
EU Market & Food Safety Standards: Outlined European Union requirements, focusing heavily on pesticide Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs), strict mycotoxin thresholds (e.g., aflatoxin limits of 8 ppb), and the implementation of TRACES and REX systems for border clearance and GSP benefits.
