Technical Project Coordinator

We are seeking a technically oriented and highly organized Technical Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of software and digital transformation projects. The role will work closely with software developers, technical teams, government officials, clients, and other project stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are clearly understood, properly documented, and delivered within the agreed scope, timeline, and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software development processes, including frontend, backend, database, UI/UX, software testing, and deployment concepts. While the role is not primarily focused on coding, the candidate must be technically capable of understanding development work, communicating effectively with developers, identifying project-level issues, and translating business requirements into clear technical and functional requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate software development and IT projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and project handover.
  • Act as a coordination point between developers, technical teams, government officials, clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Gather, analyze, clarify, and document business and functional requirements from clients and stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical and functional requirements for development teams.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including SRS, BRD, RFP, functional specifications, user requirements, process flows, meeting minutes, project plans, and other technical documents.
  • Coordinate with developers and UI/UX teams to ensure that project requirements, designs, and functionalities are properly implemented.
  • Review system designs, user interfaces, workflows, and proposed technical solutions from a project and requirements perspective.
  • Maintain a working understanding of frontend, backend, database, API, UI/UX, hosting, and deployment concepts to effectively communicate with technical teams. (Nice to have)
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and other QA documentation based on project requirements.
  • Conduct and coordinate manual/ automation testing of applications to verify functionality, usability, data accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
  • Coordinate with developers to identify, document, track, and resolve bugs, issues, and deviations from requirements.
  • Develop a basic understanding of test automation and automation testing practices and support the implementation of automated testing where applicable.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with clients, government officials, and other end users, including preparation of test cases, issue logs, and UAT documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and deadlines, and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, requirement discussions, technical discussions, demonstrations, UAT sessions, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Maintain effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders and ensure that decisions, requirements, and changes are properly communicated to the relevant teams.
  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests and escalate critical matters to management when necessary.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and institutional stakeholders to facilitate approvals, feedback, data collection, system validation, training, and project implementation.
  • Support preparation of proposals, technical specifications, RFP responses, presentations, project reports, and other business development materials when required.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, resource requirements, implementation plans, and delivery estimates.
  • Coordinate system demonstrations, training sessions, workshops, and stakeholder validation activities.
  • Maintain project records, technical documentation, requirement traceability, issue trackers, and project repositories throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are aligned with agreed requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project coordination, software development workflows, documentation, testing processes, and stakeholder communication.
  • Work closely with senior management and technical leads to support strategic planning and successful delivery of IT projects.
  • Take increasing ownership of project planning, stakeholder management, team coordination, and delivery responsibilities as part of career progression toward an IT project management / managerial role.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with a relevant master's degree or professional certifications in project management, software engineering, business analysis, or related areas will be considered an advantage.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT project coordination, software development projects, business analysis, technical project management, or a similar role.
  • Experience working directly with software developers, technical teams, clients, government officials, and other institutional stakeholders will be strongly preferred.
  • Experience in government, public-sector, enterprise, financial, trade, regulatory, or other large-scale digital transformation projects will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software project implementation processes.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of frontend and backend development concepts, with the ability to understand technical discussions and communicate effectively with developers.
  • Basic understanding of database, API, system architecture, hosting, deployment, and integration concepts.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and practical familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
  • Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance, particularly manual testing.
  • Practical experience in preparing and executing test cases, test scenarios, UAT documentation, bug reports, and issue tracking.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation is required; hands-on experience with automation testing tools or frameworks will be considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain technical and project documentation, including SRS, BRD, RFP, functional requirements, process flows, test cases, meeting minutes, project reports, and related documents.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical and functional requirements for development teams.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage communication across multiple parties.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with government officials, clients, developers, consultants, and senior management.
  • Ability to conduct and coordinate requirement-gathering sessions, technical discussions, project meetings, system demonstrations, UAT sessions, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Trello, Asana, Notion, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and strong written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, manage multiple priorities, and proactively follow up on project deliverables.
